Farmhouse. Mid C19 reported to incorporate part of Sir Robert Atkyn's manor-house
of mid C17. Rubble with slate roof, coped verges with large kneelers and
end ashlar stacks. 2 storeys, band over ground floor; 3 windows, glazing
bar sashes in raised surrounds; central gabled porch also with kneelers and
coped verges, pointed archway, half-glazed door. 1½ storey lean-to to left.
Large rainwater head cast with initial 'S' (Sartoris). Sir Robert Atkyns,
the Gloucestershire historian lived in a manor house on this site.
