Terraced houses. c.1780-1800 Portman Estate development. Stock brick
with stuccoed ground floors. 4 storeys and basements. 2-window wide
fronts. Doorways to left, Nos. 47 and 48 semicircular arched, No. 49
with wood doorcase, dentil cornice and open pediment, panelled doors and
fanlights. Recessed sashes, under flat gauged arches to upper floors.
Plat band over ground floor stuccowork. Parapet with stone coping.
Curved wrought iron and geometric pattern cast iron balconies to 1st
floor. Cast iron area railings with torch finials.
