Originally the first free school in Ryde of 1812. Two storeys except East
bay which contains hall through height of building. Stone rubble with
ashlar quoins, yellow brick window dressings centre and East. The centre
is slightly recessed. West bay contains original three light casements with
glazing bars. Centre two mid C19 round headed windows with Keystones
over. Large window in East bay is modern. Central round headed
doorway with yellow brick dressings added, double doors. Low pitch hipped
slate roof with projecting eaves.
