1909. Brick and concrete; slate roof. Three storeys plus basement and attic; 6 bays, the outer ones with intermittent even quoins, slightly advanced and carried up into a 4th storey at attic level. Ground floor with a tall narrow sash window with flat surround, 3 casement windows, the door set within a moulded surround with cyclopic keystone and cornice and another tall narrow sash window. Big entablature. First and second floors with outer single sash window with flat surrounds and severe cornices and 2 tiers of 4 big mullioned and transomed casement windows made to read as very tall single window deeply set back between the brick piers which support a stone entablature with boldly bracketted cornice. Above this, four 2-light dormer casement windows in the roof. Left and right of these, pedimented windows.
