Large detached farmhouse. Datestone WIP/AD/1869, built for W.I.
Phelps. Coursed rubble limestone; ashlar dressings; red and blue
brick chimney stacks; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic;
rear wing forms T-plan; outbuilding attached to west side of rear
wing. Front: 2-window mullioned and transomed fenestration, each
with limestone lintel, marlstone segmental relieving arch over and
ashlar limestone between; attic casements in half-gabled dormers.
Central datestone at upper floor level. Projecting chimney stack
at each gable end. East side: scattered mullioned and transomed
casement fenestration with openings as to front. Two attic
casements in half-gabled dormers. Doorway with 4-centred arched
head to right having plank door. Two ridge-mounted chimneys.
Single-storey outbuilding on side of wing with gable end chimney.
Terminates view south along Woodmancote at bend in road. Grouped
with farmbuilding and Nos 70 and 72 Woodmancote (q.v.).
