Former large detached house, now 2 attached houses. Late C17;
extensive C18 and early C19 alterations; C20 restoration and
alterations. Random rubble limestone with much recent ribbon
pointing; brick chimneys; stone slate roof. Two blocks both 2-
storey with attic; blocks link at corner to form L-plan. Parallel
range at rear also 2-storey with attic. Front: main range to left
has 5-window fenestration, mostly 12-pane sashes with mix of timber
and concrete lintels; 2 attic sashes in full gables. Doorway with
projecting pedimented porch and 4-panel door has 9-pane sash over.
Two-window sash fenestration to south side of range to right and 9-
pane sash in full attic gable. Gable end facing road has 2-window
upper floor sash fenestration above plain string course; 12-pane
sash to attic. North side: scattered fenestration. Two upper
floor 12-pane sashes each with full blank attic gable above. C20
casements to ground floor; gabled porch to doorway. Large lean-to
addition to gable end of main range to right. South end: 2 gables
with ridge-mounted chimneys; 2 upper floor sashes with marginal
lights in left gable. Rear: upper floor sash with marginal
lights; 2 hipped roof dormers with small-paned casements.
Remainder of elevation much altered. Interior not inspected.
