Late C18 (between 1772 and 1791), of which No 4 Bridge Street (qv) originally
comprised the south bay. These buildings formed part of a bridge head development
which included No I Bridge Street, Nos 1 and 104 Northbrook Street (qv). Three
storeys. Two windows with 2 windows north return to river. Slate roof. Red brick
with modillion cornice and rebuilt parapet. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed
sash windows with glazing bars; blind windows at 1st and 2nd floor levels. Former
bridge shelter of 1769-72 incorporated as shop window in north bay (see Bridge).
