Probably circa 1840. Breaks forward from flanking wings of terrace (earlier
to north, later to south). Two storeys and basement reflected terrace of
2-4-2 bays. Ashlar fronts, cornice and blocking course. Upped roofs, slate
mostly replaced in modern tiles. Glazing bar sash windows, with bracketted
cornice and enriched frieze on ground floor. Doorways set in, with marginal
oblong overlights, flush porches formed by plain Doric columns, paired in
centre. No 29 has plate glass sash windows and a 2 storey angled bay with
modillion cornices and an attic. Rear retain good ironwork to first floor
balconies (2 verandahs left).
