GV II

House. c.1820-30. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings;
gabled Welsh slate roof; brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Six-panelled door with decorative overlight set in
open-pedimented architrave with pilasters. Keyed flat stone lintels over 6-pane
sashes. Raised storey and eaves bands. 3-light leaded casements with turnbuckles
and runner bars to rear. One-storey service wing to rear right; has reset early
C16 two-light chamfered round-arched window in lean-to to rear. Interior:
dog-leg staircase with stick balusters to rear; early C19 panelled doors, one to
right retaining brass lock.
