Cottages. Probably C18. Painted slatestone rubble and rendered cob with steep
pitched Delabole slate roofs probably originally thatched with gable stone and brick
chimneys. 2-room plan to each cottage. 2 storeys. Left cottage no. 17 has 3-
window front, central door and 2-light wooden casements 12 panes each. Buttress
between cottages. Right cottage no. 16 has 5-window front, door slightly off centre
to right and 2-light, wooden casements with glazing bars. Ground floor window to
left of door and 2 windows to right. No. 17 is set slightly higher than No. 16 and
the roofs are also at different levels.
Interiors not inspected.
