House and converted outbuildings. Dated 'ILM 1684', altered
C19 and C20. Roughcast stone, cement-tile roof. 2 storeys,
total of 5 windows to 1st floor. Renewed casements with
glazing bars throughout. C20 porch encloses part-glazed door;
on its right a segmentally-arched window with projecting sill
then external stone steps with door under landing slab; C20
garage door beyond. Left corner of the house is angled under
oversailing eaves and has large window to each floor in
continuous reveals. 1st floor: projecting sill and square head
to window above porch, date stone on right and similar window
beyond. Recessed window in position of door over the external
steps; another over the garage. End stack on left and ridge
stack at junction of house and former outbuildings. INTERIOR:
2 rooms with very low ceilings retaining original transverse
beams and common joists. Left end of house has different floor
levels and is of later date.
