House. Late C15 with later alterations. Timber-framed with
brick. Pantile roof. L-plan arranged to north of courtyard. 2
storeys. 3 bay facade, colourwashed. Central C16 plank and
stud door flanked by one C20 casement right and left. Jettied
first floor. Two 3-light late C18 first-floor casements.
Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks, both rebuilt, the
southern one late C20. Brick south gable. Rear of front range
timber framed: late C18 half-glazed door to left; various
casements right and at first floor. 2-storey jettied hall
range extends east, also timber-framed, the western half
underbuilt in brick and pierced by one fixed sash and one
casement. Immediately left of the section is a cast-iron water
pump, a C20 window and door. One 3-light casement and one C20
window to first floor, and, between them, a former loading
door. Gabled roof with ridge stack left of centre on a high
rendered plinth.
INTERIOR. West ground-floor room of cross wing close studded.
Room next east with fireplace in north wall. Principal studs
are jowled, the tie beams have tension braces to front,
street, range, arched braces to cross wing. One 4-light
diamond-mullioned window survives in cross wing.
