Early C17 house, now house and shop. Partly timber framed,
principally colourwashed brick. Plaintiles and pantiles. Lobby
entrance plan. 2 storeys. Panelled door right of centre,
displaced by early C20 butchers' shop display window to its
left. Under window are decorative tiles depicting a sheep and
a bull. Doorcase is reeded. Right of door is a mid C18 3-light
casement. 2 similar, smaller, casements to first floor, one of
3, the other of 4 lights. Gabled roof with ridge stack over
door. Immediately left is a covered, pantiled, carriageway
entered through timber double-leaf doors. Gabled roof.
INTERIOR. First floor with tie beams, rafters and corner
braces to frame. Ties in north wall have arched braces.
