Block of large houses. Circa 1900. Bath stone. Roof not visible. Arts and
Crafts Georgian style. Irregular composition on corner site. 4 storeys, attic
and basement. 9 bays to Charles St, with lower 4-bay return to Chesterfield
Hill. Polygonal corner turret with timber top storey and low pointed spire.
Ground floor with channelling and projecting Ionic porches. Continuous first
floor balcony. Pair of canted 3-storey bays to roofline. Square headed
architraved, sashed windows with carved open pediments and prominent keystones to
first floor. Modillion cornice above third floor. Glazing bars. Iron area
railings.
