SY 49 SW STANTON ST GABRIEL

6/110 St Gabriel's House

G.V. II

Manor house, recently converted to 4 dwellings. C18 with C20 alterations. Red
brick walls in Flemish bond on a stone plinth. Burnt headers and a brick plat-
band. Thatch roof with gable ends at left and right hand ends. One brick stack
at right hand end. Further stacks at junction of back wing and main range, at
end of back wing side wall. T-plan with a rear service-range. East elevation.
2 storeys. 7 windows. 3 light wooden casements with glazing bars under
segmental heads. 2-light wooden casements upstairs, with wooden cills. 3 C20
front doors to the modern dwellings, wood with 6 glass panels. Rear walls,
rubble built with brick quoins. Interior: mainly gutted. Some mid-chamfered
ceiling beams with tongued stops.
