Row of 3 cottages, probably late C18, but not all of one build. Coursed rubble
with Welsh slate roofs, to very steep pitch. All of two storeys but various
round plans. No. 19 is a 2 unit house with 2 outer 3-light casement windows,
and inner door, with chamfered timber lintels. No. 21 is single unit, with inner
doors and 3-light casements. On a window quoin is carved in an old hand, the
name John Clark. Left hand gable of the pair is coped. No. 23 is probably rather
earlier, the single bay to left of doorway has a fire window and a 3-light casement
with wide and flat timber lintels. Doorway is recessed to the right. Brick
gable stacks.
