Chest tomb. Early C19. Ashlar. Gothick style. Flat top with carved
bishop's mitre lying on it, with tassels and crozier in low relief; moulded
cornice, Gothick panels to frieze, projecting corners with trefoil headed
panels, two recessed panels to long sides with ogee-trefoil heads and arms
capped by swags of drapery between the two panels. West end: "Richard Hurd/
Bishop of Worcester/ Died XXVIII May/ MDCCCVIII/ Aged LXXXVIII".
