about 50 yards south-
west of Grange Farmhouse

Stable and granary, now cowhouse. Probably late C18 to early C19. Sandstone
rubble with Welsh slate roof. Nine structural bays aligned north-east/south-
west. Two levels. West elevation to farmyard has one 2-light opening to
left side of upper level, seven vent slits, and two more to the left which
are blocked, at bottom of upper floor; ground floor has four evenly spaced
2-light openings, one square headed doorway to right of centre and another
with a segmental head to right; two-bay C19 full-height extension to right-
hand side. North gable has two segmentally headed doors, both with ledged
doors, one on ground floor to right, the other to left of centre at top of
stone tallet stairs rising from east; beneath the stairs is a kennel.
Interior has collar trusses and substantial parts of oak troughs and racks.
