Fountain about 16 metres south of The Old Post Office

Fountain. Dated 1855. Sandstone and limestone. Rectangular sandstone
fountain on plinth, with round-headed recessed panel with keystone, plain limestone
frieze, lion mask with spout, cornice; round-headed block on top with inscription
plate, ball finial; limestone basin at base in front. Erected by Barbara
Charlotte Anderson, wife of the Rector of Tormarton, for the inhabitants of the
village, the water supply brought from the Bidwell spring.
