SP 82 SE STEWKLEY DUNTON ROAD

House. Dated 1813 on bricks, extended C19 and C20. Red and vitreous
brick, partly chequered, plain plinth, moulded brick eaves. Old tile
roof, flanking brick chimneys. T-plan. 2 storeys, S. front of 3 bays.
Outer bays have 5-pane sash windows with cut brick heads. Centre has
4-pane sash to first floor over half-glazed door in late C19 timber
porch with shaped bargeboards to gable. Floor of porch is set with
large ammonites from local quarry. Rear has C19 extensions in angles
and small C20 porch extension to east.
