Cottage range N of the Lordship. C16 and later. Timber frame
with central, half-timber and red brick gable end. Panelled
modern plaster, brick base, steep, old tiled roof. 2 storeys, 6
windows. Central feature was probably cross wing of original
house on S side. Its half-timbered upper floor has diagonal
braces and original central window frame. C18 brickwork, C19
ornamental bargeboards. C19/20 projecting imitation brick and
half-timber porch with fishscale tile roof. All windows 3-light
leaded casements with horizontal bars. Some have C17 moulded
frames. 1 window and door at N end are modern extension. S
gable end has exposed C17 brick stack.
