House, C16 timber frame of 3 bays. Plastered, old red tile roof,
N gable end weatherboarded with tile hanging to 1st floor and
central brick stack. 2 storeys. 4 window front has flat-hooded
door towards S flanked by triple, leaded casements with shutters.
Canted, early C19, Ground floor sash window bow on N. Regular,
1st floor, mullioned and transomed casements. Phoenix Assurance
plaque in centre. Interior has some C18 panelling and a C18
dogleg staircase at rear centre. Very large brick chimneystack
towards S. Formerly an inn with parlour on N.
