6/6 Magpie Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C16 with C19 refacing and C20 addition to rear.
Timber framed with later facing of red brick with grey headers
old tile roof with catslide over outshot to rear, three C19 tile
hung gabled dormers to south with 3-light casements, end stacks and stack
off-centre to right. Former open hall of 3 framed bays with later
alterations. 1 1/2 storeys. Three 3-light ground floor casements with
segmental heads, boarded door with segmental head between second and third
windows from left. Interior: 4 pairs of cruck blades, inserted floor and
chimney of circa 1600. Smoke blackened roof timbers.
