2 houses forming a row. Dated and inscribed over each entrance A.B. 1662 (No
12) and I.M.W. 1688 (No 10), with extensive early C19 alterations and C20
restoration. Red sandstone rubble with flush quoins on chamfered plinth.
Common graduated greenslate roof with tall candlestick chimney stacks. 2
storeys, 3 bays each. C20 doors in chamfered surrounds under dated and
inscribed chamfered lintels with hood moulds. No. 12 has niches under hood
moulds flanking entrance. Casement windows in C19 chamfered surrounds under
hood moulds. Single-bay extension to right with C20 porch is of no interest.
