Farmhouse and extension now private house and garage. Mid C17 with extension
dated and inscribed over entrance R.M. 1835. Original house of red sandstone
rubble with upper storey of brick under sandstone slate roof with small
octagonal chimney stack. Extension of hammer-dressed red sandstone with string
course and flush quoins on chamfered plinth. 2-storey, 2-bay original house,
now garage; 2-storey, 2-bay extension projects to right. Present house has C20
door in Tudor arch under hood mould in gabled porch. Tall 2-light
stone-mullioned windows under hood moulds. Former house has 2 small
chamfered-surround fire windows, a similar 2-light window and an enlarged C18
window, now all blocked. Upper floor blocked stone-mullioned windows are
original but have been reset in brick wall. Rear wall has C20 garage doors.
