Probably gardener's cottage. Circa mid to late C19. Stone rubble. Slate roof with
gable ends and parallel range to rear with gable ends. Brick end stacks to left.
Plan: 2 room double depth plan; the front range with entrance on right leading into
passage with principal room to left heated by end stack. Service rooms in parallel
range to rear.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window front with probably original hornless sashes.
C20 door to right with chamfered granite lintel and hood mould above. 16-pane sash
to left with similar hood mould and lintel. Two 12-pane sashes in gabled half dormers
to first floor. Stone rubble garden wall attached on left hand side (qv garden walls
to Oak Terrace).
