Farmhouse. C17 and mid C18 with later additions. Timber framed to north
with angle braces and brick nogging; red brick to south, gauged window heads
with carved stone scrolled keystones,plat band,and grey headers in first
floor blank window to right. Moulded brick eaves cornice to south; old
tile roof with end stacks, central ridge stack on wing to rear and 2 hipped
dormers to south with 2-light casements. T-plan with one framed bay wing
to rear. South front: 2 storeys and attic, glazing bar sashes with
exposed wooden boxes. Central 6-panelled door with rectangular overlight,
plain surround and projecting flat hood on acanthus scrolled brackets.
One storey C19 addition to left of red brick with old tiled roof and
stack to right, and one 2-light casement.
