The south-eastern aspect.
Like most churches, St Mary's has, over the years been extensively modified, extended or rebuilt, either whole or in part. In the case of this building, much of it dates from the 13th century. During the 15th century, the tower was rebuilt and some 100 years later, a chapel was added to the south side of the chancel. In the early part of the 20th century, the chapel and chancel were rebuilt.
