Terrace house. Early to mid C18 rebuild of Barbon house. Brown brick, slate
roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide. Entrance to
left with panelled door and semicircular fanlight on wooden doorcase of Doric
columns, dosserets and open pediments. Recessed sash windows under flat gauged
arches. Stone plat band over ground floor and stone sill bands; parapet with
coping. Interior retains passage hall with pilastered archway to closed moulded
string staircase with turned and twisted balusters; panelling and box cornices
largely intact on 1st and 2nd floors, etc.
