Pair of houses. Early C19. Red brick; slate roof; central brick ridge
chimney and 2 gable end stacks (rebuilt). 2 storeys; 6 first-floor windows,
each unit symmetrical. No. 38 has a 4-panelled door under a fanlight with
cinque-foiled glazing bars. Nor 37 has C20 half-glazed door and plain fan-
light, both doors in recessed round-headed gauged brick arches. Mostly 16-
pane sash windows under flat gauged brick arches (ground floor windows of
No. 37 have large-paned sashes with horns). Fascia cornice.
