"Wycliffe’s Door", so called because of the belief that it was through this door that Wycliffe was carried to his death bed after suffering a severe stroke in the course of divine worship and/or that his body was carried some 40 years later after exhumation from the chancel to be burned and his ashes disposed of in the river Swift.
