- Moor Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, built c.1844 after the Enclosure of 1843. Gault
brick. Hipped slate roof with deep boarded eaves; two stacks
with polygonal shafts. Two storeys, symmetrical facade. Two
giant pilasters set back from quoins with moulded stone caps.
Brick plinth and band at first floor. Three first floor, and
two ground floor windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, include
central windows above door in recessed brick arch with stone key
block. Doorway with half-glazed door and recessed arch with
round head and fanlight.
