GV II

Beer house, now a garden store. C17 or C18. Small, 3 metres
square, timberframed and plastered farm beer house with pyramidal
thatched roof with low eaves. Constructed with a post at each
corner, brick floor and without openings except for plank door on
E side against corner. Archaic solid roof construction of straw
built up from a horizontal framework of poles and carefully
thatched to form a steep square pyramid.
