1856, by F W Fiddian. Former Edgbaston Vestry Hall. Red brick with mostly
painted stone dressings on a blue brick battered plinth: slate roof. In a
Norman style. Single-storeyed; 9 bays divided by narrow pilasters in the
rhythm one broad: one narrow: 5: one narrow: one broad. The outer broad
bays each with a round-headed door with one order of columns and an oculus
left and right above; the narrow bays each have one, the 5 other bays coupled,
round-arched windows with nook shafts. The ornament roll-moulds with interlace
and some ball flower. Elaborate brick bracketed eaves cornice.
