School room and clerk's house, now house. Built 1817 for Alderman William
Fletcher. Squared and coursed limestone, with ashlar quoins and dressings;
stone-coped Welsh slate roof. 2-unit. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Central by
flanked by hood moulds over studded doors set in chamfered pointed architraves.
Hood moulds over one-light windows to left and 3-light chamfered stone-mullioned
windows. Clock set in moulded roundel with sunk spandrels. Quatrefoils to gable e
ends; left gable carved with Fletcher arms. C20 extension and outshut to rear.
Interior not inspected.
