Farmhouse. Late C17, altered C19. Cement-rendered stone,
graduated slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows to 1st floor. C20
glazed porch encloses part-glazed door; broad 4-pane sash on
right in position of former 3-light mullioned window having
chamfered surround but with lowered sill, C17 hoodmould. Tall
4-pane sash to left of porch and broader 4-pane sash beyond
both having projecting sills. Sash windows to 1st floor. Front
wall at left end of house curves with the lane. End stacks.
INTERIOR: beamed ceiling in lounge with transverse beams
including one of deeper section in position of smokehood
bressumer. One principal-rafter truss; right end stack
oversails inner gable wall on wooden cantilevers evincing the
existence of former smokehood.
