Farmhouse and cottage with attached farm buildings. Probably
C17 and C18, altered. Roughcast and exposed cobble/rubble
walls, slate roofs. Elongated L-shaped range. 2 storeys, 1:2
windows to 1st floor with outbuilding to right and barn across
right end. Farmhouse: boarded door in wooden porch; 6/12-pane
sash on left and small casement window on right; 2 small
casements to 1st floor. End stack on left shared with attached
cottage (having lower roof). Cottage: brick lean-to on left of
part-glazed door and 20-pane casement; small casement with
glazing bars to 1st floor. Outbuilding to right of farmhouse
has doorway on each floor whilst left return of attached barn
has broad doorway and taking-in door. Right return of barn:
limestone quoins on right indicate partial rebuild whilst
quoins to left show 2 phases; barn doors beneath wooden
lintel. Rear of farmhouse has stair projection under catslide
roof; slit vents to outbuilding on left. INTERIOR not fully
inspected: beamed ceilings; farmhouse said to have spiral
stone staircase.
