Granary. c1800. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, peg-tiled
pyramidal roof. Square plan, on brick piers. N side, old door
of boards with beaded edges. S side, C20 double doors, C20
2-light casement window on W side. INTERIOR: slender wall
studding, primary braced, 2 bays, no bracing to tie-beam but
angle ties at corners. Simple king post to apex with nailed
braces to upper square frame, probably base of one time
central vent. Walls have secondary strengthening by internal
brick infilling up to half height. Luptons (qv), Wealdcote
(qv), the granary, The Cottage (qv), The Post Office (qv) and
the Tower Arms (qv) form a group.
