Three shops. C18 with early C19 refronting. Brick with ashlar
dressings; tile roof with brick cross-axial stack. 2 storeys;
4-window range. Boxed eaves. Ground floor has late C19 shop
fronts with fascias and recessed entrances, No 26A has
panelled pilasters. 1st floor has windows with sills, and
rusticated wedge lintels over 16-pane sashes; skylights to
roof. Rear gabled wing with lateral and cross-axial stacks,
some hipped dormers to right end. Interior: exposed chamfered
beams and joists to No.27 and No 27A.
