Terraced houses. 1827-1831. Developed by Henry Flower and
Samuel Kell. Brick, stucco and roofs of slate. Four storeys
over basement, three windows each. Ground floor and basement
stuccoed with banded rustication; round-arched entrances with
Greek Doric columns carrying cornice heads, and panelled doors
of original design; windows have flat arches, those to first,
second and third floors being of gauged brick; sill band and
continuous iron balconies to first floor. Some original
glazing bars. Parapet. First-floor continuous cast-iron
balcony at the rear of no 25. Area railings with spearhead and
urn finials, and basement overthrows.
