Two chest tombs and headstone to N
and NE of Church of St Bartholomew

GV II

Two chest tombs and a headstone. C18. First, approx 16m to
north of north aisle. Mid C18. Hipped top with cyma moulding
to edge and to plinth; one raised-and-fielded panel to each
side with worn inscriptions, and panelled pilasters to long
sides. Second, set in the angle of the chancel and north
transept. Early C18. Thick hipped top with cyma moulding to
edge and to plinth; one recessed panel to each side; fluted
pilasters with convex lower part, to long sides; worn
inscriptions but 'Fitchett' is legible. Headstone. Late C17.
Recessed inscription panel with enriched foliate surround and
2 recessed semi-circular panels with primitively carved angels
to the heads.
