South aspect. Most of the visible church here is late C14-early C15. West tower, very deep angle buttresses cut into the Perpendicular Gothic window tracery. Perpendicular Gothic C15 clerestories, roofs, south aisle window tracery, except for South aisle chapel, windows, Decorated Gothic. Extensive restorations by B.Ferrey and Sir George Gilbert Scott, 1850s, and W.Butterfield, c1871. (Photo TP Jackson Jul 1977).
