Semi-detached houses. 1773-4. Developed and designed by John
Spiller. Brick, stucco and roofs of slate. Three storeys over
basement, with dormers in attic, five windows each. No 10 has
an enclosed stucco porch with round-arched entrance, Ionic
antae and enriched entablature. No 11 has a round-arched
entrance with fanlight, framed by a stucco doorcase with
cornice on consoles. All windows flat-arched with heads of
gauged red brick; stucco sill band to first-floor windows;
broad band over second-floor windows; sashes of original
design to first floor of no 11; parapet; dormers in attic to
no 11; end stacks and stack to party wall. Cast-iron railings
with pinched spike and acorn finials, partly replaced to no
11, with overthrow to basement of no 10 and scrolled overthrow
lampholder to no 11.
