Formerly a row of houses possibly once incorporating domestic
workshops, and now in commercial use. Late C18, with C20
alterations and renewals. Brick with stone-flagged roof.
2-storeyed to front, 3 to rear, irregular 6-window range.
Lower storey extensively remodelled, with inserted
traditional-style shop fronts, and 2 doorways with radial
fanlights in moulded stone round-arched architraves to centre
and right, possibly not in original positions. Upper floor has
irregularly grouped sash windows of 12 and 16 panes with stone
sills and flat-arched heads. Rear range housed under same
roof, but somewhat longer: 4 Gothick arched windows with
interlace tracery to first floor, four 3-light long casement
windows to attic storey. 2 axial stacks.
