Hollies Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse and attached cottage, now one house. Late C18 with
C20 additions and alterations. Red brick with brick dressings
and plain tile roofs with brick coped gables and brick gable
stacks, plus dentilled eaves band to farmhouse. Three storeys
and three bays plus two bay, two storey wing to west. Central
wide weatherboarded C20 gabled porch with glazed door and small
windows to either side covering the original doorcase and glazed
panelled door. To either side there are segment headed small
pane 3-light casements and above there are two similar windows
with a similar 2-light window over the door. Above again there
is a similar arrangement of flat headed small pane casements.
Lower part attached to west is considerably set back and has a
3-light segment headed small pane C20 casement to west and large
glazed C20 patio doors to east. Above there are two flat headed
3-light small pane casements.
