Terrace of four houses, originally symmetrical composition (three
houses now demolished). c.1860. Stucco, slate roof. Two
storeys with attic storey, three bays to each house, nos. 6 and 7
break forward. Ground floor has channelled rustication,
1st-floor sill band with projecting sills, top frieze, cornice
and panelled attic storey. Nos. 4 and 5 have tripartite
casement window with consoled mullions and segmental head to
ground floor, and projecting porch to left with round arched
opening and dentilled cornice. 1st-floor windows have eared
architraves and casements. No. 4 has windows in attic storey
and lettering: 'ELM TERRACE', shallow gable above has
wreath. Attic storey of No. 5 has windows which cut through
cornice. Nos. 6 and 7 have round-headed ground floor
windows and paired porches similar to nos. 4 and 5. 1st
floor windows have architraves, incised friezes and
cornices, central windows are architraved and have Greek
hood. Attic windows similar to no. 5. All have casements.
