Town house. c1700 on sign, restored 1986. Render on rubble;
steep asbestos slate roof; cast-iron ogee gutter; raking
dormers over 2nd-floor windows. Double-depth plan plus rear
wing on right. 3 storeys with 2nd floor partly in roof space;
2-window range. Early C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars.
Ground floor has widened central doorway (formerly with wooden
doorcase) and flanking C20 shop windows. INTERIOR: ground
floor altered C20, otherwise not inspected. Included for group
value.
