Park Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. C18 and early C19. Ashlar to main front and red
brick with stone dressings to other fronts. Hipped slate roof
with wide eaves and ashlar ridge stacks, plus cove eaves band.
Two storeys and three bays to early C19 part with three storey,
three bay C18 rear wing. T-plan. Main early C19 front has a
plinth, plain first floor band, centre bay slightly advanced and
pilaster strips to either corner. To centre there is a glazed
panelled door and plain overlight covered by a late C19
conservatory porch with hipped glass roof and double doors to
front. To either side there are tall glazing bar sashes. Above
there are three similar sashes. Side elevations of early C19
part have similar sashes below rusticated wedge lintels. C18
wing to rear has segment headed casement windows. Interior has
a stick baluster staircase lit by lantern window in early C19
part whilst C18 part has low beamed ceilings and inglenooks.
