Row of late C18 brick and tile-hung cottages. 2 storeys. Eaves and
gutter. Ridge mansard tile roof, half hipped at both ends. 6 flat-
roofed leaded dormers symmetrically arranged in pairs. 3 ridge stacks.
Ground floor with recessed brick panels between brick pilasters.
1 plain boarded door and 1 casement to each cottage. Doors of centre
cottages arranged in pairs. No 141, to extreme left, with C18 panelled
door with flat bracketed hood over and splayed projecting bay carried up
2 storeys with flat leaded roof and containing modern casements with
painted wooden panel between floors. 1st floor of other cottages with
5 casements widely spaced in pairs.
Random stone retaining wall in front of cottage gardens and bordering
London Road.
