A Grade II Listed Building in Euxton, Lancashire

Armetriding Farm and Corn Mill

Uploader's Comments

Armetriding Farm (circa ~1570)and Armetriding Corn Mill (circa 1898).
The mill (now lost) is in the foreground of the picture, the Farm House (still in existance) is to the top lef of the picture. Armetriding Farm, down Mill Lane (off Dawbers Lane) is Euxton's oldest farmhouse and it is probably the second oldest building in Euxton, after the Parish Church. A date-stone '1570' can be found on its north wall. The Corn Mill has since gone, but it's eastern wall may still be seen at the side of the western stairs that lead up to Armetriding farm house.
